Inter-State Travel Guidelines
The following is the guideline issued by the Jammu and Kashmir government for the arrival of passengers to the state and the departure to other states.
- All passengers coming to UT should undergo a COVID-19 test, if found positive, the person will be sent to COVID dedicated hospital and if found negative, the person should undergo 14 days home quarantine.
- Mandatory RT-PCR testing of all the incoming passengers should be done.
- Modified quarantine procedure will be applied for the following people: pregnant women in the last trimester having pregnancy certificate; cancer patients on chemotherapy; chronically ill, dialysis patients with a certificate, mothers with infants below 1 year; children below 10 years traveling alone; govt. of India personnel and RT PCR test negative candidates.
- Passengers traveling from the red district to the orange district should also follow the guidelines mentioned.
